Position Overview:

Nearpod is growing fast and we need the very best talent to continue building upon our foundation. We need the strongest partners in talent acquisition to meet our goals and help us achieve success in attaining our mission. This is a senior-level role where you will partner directly with the CTO to lead the entire recruitment process for select positions on our technology team.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deep technical talent network in the South Florida region

  • Run searches and engage with passive candidates via LinkedIn, AngelList, Google Search Engine, GitHub, and other platforms

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process for technical roles (source, screen, schedule, offer)

  • Partner with recruiting team to manage candidates through the interview process

  • Build talent pipelines for multiple technical job requisitions at any given time

  • Experience recruiting technical talent in competitive markets

  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.

  • Build solid relationships with leadership teams and serve as a partner before, during, and after the recruiting process.

  • Be proactive in networking, cold-calling, and “deep diving” into passive candidate networks throughout various markets

  • Experience working in a growth-oriented organization with a focus on high volume hiring

  • Own the relationship between 3rd party vendors as it relates to moving candidates through the process


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in tech startups and demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a low structure, fast-paced environment in a flexible manner

  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience recruiting for technical roles

  • Bachelor's degree required 

  • Strong track record of sourcing diverse candidates

  • A positive attitude and ability to thrive working in a collaborative team environment
