What You’ll Do:
     The Visa Department Intern will report to the Sr. Visa Program Manager and will support the Visa and Legal department with administrative needs and any other task relevant to the support process of our international teachers.  We are looking for an intern who is keen to learn about the international education arena and J-1 cultural exchange programs while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment.  Attention to detail is a must and experience with international exchange or prior travel or study abroad experience is a plus.

 

  • Review immigration and travel documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Creating new files
  • Data entry in Salesforce database or Sunapsis visa software database
  • Scanning and uploading of documents into database
  • Review, evaluate and enter/upload data of teacher submitted Annual Reports 
  • Assist with Arrival Orientation for teachers (scheduled during summer months)
  • Other projects as needed. 

Hours: 30-40 hours/week with some weeks requiring overtime hours, evenings and weekend shifts

Location: Chapel Hill office, Durham and DC during Ambassador Teacher orientation.
 

Qualifications

Experience You Bring:

  • Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in international studies, languages, education, ro related field preferred.
  • Preference for a current college junior or senior
