About this Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleaning and maintenance of our outdoor wedding venue. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff. This role is critical to ensuring that our venue remains immaculate and ready for each event. Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the work, the people and the customers are key to achieving success in this role.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all areas of the venue are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and checklists to maintain high standards of cleanliness before, during, and after events.
- Conduct regular inspections of the venue to identify areas that require cleaning, maintenance, or repair.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering.
- Collaborate with the event planning team to understand specific cleaning requirements for each event and ensure they are met.
- Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inventory, and staff performance.
- Other duties as assigned
