PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrences (BGC) aim is to inspire and enable young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Volunteer will do so by providing group support, guidance, and friendship to our young members at our Boys & Girls Club sites or at a Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence sanctioned event. By working within the positive adult network (teachers, BGC staff, parents, counselors etc.) that our members are in most contact with, the volunteer can help foster positive academic and social goals that empower our members to reach their full potential.
