Description

We are seeking long-term growth and career-minded rock stars to join our Sales team!  American Trading International, Inc. (ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets.  ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.  We are looking for an Account Executive who will be responsible for building relationships with new clients and managing relationships with existing ones.  This position carries out administrative responsibilities to support the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Interface with customer’s second line management levels for in-market executions.    
  • Negotiate with customers on the prices and portfolio for management approval.     
  • Liaise with Logistics and BPM functions to ensure timely delivery of stock.   
  • Provide debt recovery support to Accounting Team for reconciliations. 
  • Provide insights from knowledge acquired through multiple data sources such as Essbase, EPOS, Market reports (AC Nielson, ROI and devising key account plans.  
  • Use creativity to improve brand availability and off take within all trade segments.   
  • Take creative approaches in using existing resources in handling seasonal spikes.    
  • Responsible to ensure adequate stock availability with the customer and retail on shelf 24/7.  
  • Maintain the stock days as per the guidelines.     
  • Responsible for range expansion.  
  • Work within allocated Trade Spend - MAP funds.  
  • Work with BPM team to provide pricing to customers and to finalize price structure.   
  • Assign new orders to the BPM team and will be responsible for getting orders signed by customers.   
  • Responsible for sending samples to customers.   
  • Support and prepare for all ATI trade events (shows, missions etc).  
  • Provide input towards the short and medium term related to customer relationship management.   
  • Increase customer data base.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, international business, or related discipline and one to three years of experience in sales, business administration, marketing, or any similar combination of education and management experience. 
  • Ability to execute multiple projects and assignments with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Strong task completion skills, ensuring prompt delivery. 
  • Professional response to inquiries, problems, or complaints is a must. 
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work is essential. 
  • Must be competent in MS office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

 

What you’ll be paid:
Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $27.55 - $33.00 an hour
