Position Overview:

The Flocabulary Marketing Manager’s goal is to support overall Flocab user growth and retention goals through strategic growth marketing tactics. The Flocabulary Marketing Manager is responsible for developing new experiments and programs to increase revenue through growth of teachers, schools, and districts. The successful candidate will also be charged to work closely with the wider Nearpod marketing team to collaborate and leverage products with the goal of driving cross-sell revenue from targeted audiences. 

 

Responsibilities:

Be an internal expert on Flocabulary, and the EdTech market

  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of Flocabulary’s comprehensive product and feature sets 

  • Lead initiatives to grow new Flocabulary audiences while also focusing on retaining existing users 

  • Collaborate with Field Marketing, Growth Marketing, Sales, & Customer Success to appropriately align on campaigns and programs that touch multiple areas of the business

Be a storyteller of the value of Flocabulary

  • Translate Flocabulary’s features into benefits for existing and prospective users & decision-makers

  • Collaborate with Field Marketing, Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Product to ensure successful launch of new products, new features, and feature updates

  • Craft compelling product messaging across marketing channels (print, landing pages, emails, ad campaigns)

 

Requirements: 

  • Thrives in a start-up environment, including the ability to quickly adapt and make informed decisions to keep the moving at a face pace

  • Ability to manage and get buy-in from cross-company key stakeholders

  • Excellent at organization, time management and project prioritization skills

  • Experience as a K-12 educator and use or used Flocabulary in your classroom

  • Storyteller and strong communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive influence within the organization 

  • You’re mission driven, believing in the importance of the work of educators and in the potential of every student

  • Previous marketing experience a plus

  • Understanding of data and very metric driven
