This position is a hybrid position - the candidate will work in the Bellevue, WA branch and remotely at times. Candidate must live in the Bellevue, WA or surrounding area.
This position will be responsible for providing administrative, marketing and sales support to the Bellevue, WA branch. Will act as point of contact for borrower, obtain loan documentation and reviews for completeness and accuracy. Will prepare file for processing and follow through to closing.
Responsible for assisting Supervisor with reports, time scheduling management, preparation of materials for and scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements and communicating on behalf of the Supervisor.
WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE
- Manages calendars for direct reports, issues reminders for meetings, birthdays and other events.
- Schedules and prepares materials and other logistics for meetings.
- Runs various reports on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
- Reformats, tracks, updates and forwards report as needed.
- Makes travel arrangements, handles conference registrations and prepares expense reports for traveling members of applicable department.
- Coordinates events
- Assists in obtaining necessary documentation from borrowers and reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
- Answers customer inquiries and interfaces with MC.
- Completes data inquiry and enters information into Encompass.
- Assists with pipeline management reviews with Processors and MC’s; monitors rate expirations; follows up with appraisal and title orders.
- Keeps MC’s updated on status and identifies issues needing MC’s attention.
- Assists with Client Database management.
- Prepares and distributes sales/marketing materials to referral sources and clients.
- Follows file from start to successful close of escrow.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Education & Experience:
- Associates degree preferred or high school graduate with equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial or mortgage banking sales work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond professionally to inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of mortgage process, guidelines, regulations, and automated underwriting systems.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial documents; ability to manually calculate figures and amounts such as payments, interest, discounts, upfront MI, funding fee, MI.
- Familiarity with Encompass and Optimal Blue preferred.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to accurately prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Must be a team player.
