2. Produces high quality menu selections
- Maintains an awareness of all products, promotions and advertisements
- Assist customers in placing their food and beverage requests in a professional and friendly manner. Offer product suggestions and alternatives when necessary
- Knowledgeable about all food and beverage served at the Café and able to make beverage requests correctly and consistently according to company standards
- Follows health, sanitation and safety guidelines for all Café items
3. Preserve quality store operations
- Follow company policy and procedures for a functioning flow
- Arrive to work on schedule and ready to work in a professional manner
- Work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Engage in proper personal hygiene and adhere to dress code to support positive and professional company image
- Carry out cleaning tasks such as empty garbage cans inside and outside throughout each day
- Maintains customer areas throughout each shift by cleaning equipment, tables, floors, counters, condiment stations and glass surfaces
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Proactively rotate and stock food and paper goods throughout each day and inform management when shortages or outages occur
- Reach for store goals by increasing sales and improving profits
- Must carry out opening and closing as assigned by management
