Job Summary: Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service in a demanding, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Consistently creates highly satisfied customers

  • Welcomes and instantly creates a friendly relationship with customer

2. Produces high quality menu selections

  • Maintains an awareness of all products, promotions and advertisements
  • Assist customers in placing their food and beverage requests in a professional and friendly manner. Offer product suggestions and alternatives when necessary
    • Knowledgeable about all food and beverage served at the Café and able to make beverage requests correctly and consistently according to company standards
    • Follows health, sanitation and safety guidelines for all Café items

3. Preserve quality store operations

  • Follow company policy and procedures for a functioning flow
  • Arrive to work on schedule and ready to work in a professional manner
  • Work varied hours including weekends and holidays
  • Engage in proper personal hygiene and adhere to dress code to support positive and professional company image
  • Carry out cleaning tasks such as empty garbage cans inside and outside throughout each day
  • Maintains customer areas throughout each shift by cleaning equipment, tables, floors, counters, condiment stations and glass surfaces
  • Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Proactively rotate and stock food and paper goods throughout each day and inform management when shortages or outages occur
  • Reach for store goals by increasing sales and improving profits
  • Must carry out opening and closing as assigned by management
  • Other various duties as assigned by management


  • One year previous restaurant/retail experience preferred
  • Must have the ability to read, count and write accurately
  • Speak clearly to demanding, hurried customers
  • Once trained, must demonstrate the ability to work with minimum supervision under stressful/demanding/fast-paced environment
  • Quality minded - puts forth an effort to improve job skills and customer service on a daily basis
  • Minimum of 18 years of age


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Must be able to climb a 6-foot ladder
  • Able to move or handle merchandise throughout the store on a consistent basis of 0-50lbs.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel and walk briskly on a daily basis throughout shift up to 8 hours.
