(ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets.  ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.


Reporting directly to the COO, The Senior Manager of Human Resources will lead our HR department and ensure a positive and engaged workplace culture.


What you’ll do:

  • Oversee all HR functions including benefits administration, payroll processing, talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with California and federal laws.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
  • Manage performance management systems to drive employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify HR needs and develop strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Ensure a positive and engaged workplace culture through various initiatives and activities.  
  • Organize team-building activities, events, and programs to promote employee morale and teamwork.
  • Collaborating with the Leadership Team, develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of all employees.
  • Manage succession planning initiatives to facilitate career development and growth opportunities for employees.  
  • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Implement and manage a rewards and recognition strategy to acknowledge and celebrate employee achievements and contributions.
  • Oversee office administration tasks to maintain a productive and efficient work environment. 
  • Coordinate office logistics and ensure facilities meet the needs of employees.


What you’ll bring:

  • Positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of HR experience in a management role.
  • Thorough knowledge of California and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience managing employee relations issues and performance management processes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.  
  • Proficiency in Paycom as the payroll and HRIS is required.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. 

What you’ll be paid:
Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $100,000 – $120,000 annually.
