Position Overview

Snack Shack Attendants will execute set up of the space to prepare for serving patrons, ensure excellent customer service throughout the event, and handle cleanup and shut down of the space post-event.

 

Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Execute set up of Snack Shack prior to each show.
  • Ensure stock quantities throughout the event and anticipate/replenish shortages before they occur.
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times. 
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage department to ensure a pleasant experience for all patrons.
  • Never approach or speak to an artist/musician, ask for autographs, take pictures or audio recordings, or touch equipment that belongs to an artist
  • Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines. 
  • Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education, Training, Traits

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must be comfortable engaging with patrons
  • Able to use a computerized point of sale system
  • Must have the ability to count and handle money accurately
  • Must be able to use a dollie/hand truck
  • Able to work in large, crowded environments, with loud music, noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
  • Flexibility with hours including days, nights and weekends
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time
