DEPARTMENT:  Housekeeping

REPORTING SUPERVISOR:  Supervisor of Housekeeping


FLSA:  Non-exempt

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  May work at any one of several locations, travel between venues may be required


SCHEDULE:  Wednesday through Sunday or equivalent full-time schedule.

The Housekeeping Team collaborates with internal and external partners to assure that all properties meet the expectations of all regulatory agencies and exceed the expectations of our clients.  The Housekeeping Team contributes to organizational and client success through the effective use of resources and ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for guests.


The Housekeeping team member is responsible for working independently and with a team to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks and projects. This includes attending to our facilities to create and maintain a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.  Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the work, the people and the customers are key to achieving success in this role.



  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • Ensure all areas of venues are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent a plus

Certification: None required. 


  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a housekeeping/cleaning role required



  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
  • Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials.
  • Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment.
  • Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend.
  • ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs).
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills a plus
