Education
Formal technical training/education strongly preferred or equivalent A&P experience
Experience & Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid US-issued FAA A&P
- Corporate aviation experience
- Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures.
- Must be able to pass DOT/FAA drug screening, and background checks and submit to random drug/alcohol tests when required.
- Individuals with relevant and direct military backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Abilities
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid US-issued FAA A&P Certificate.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of A&P-related duties with experience in maintaining large cabin Gulfstream G450/550 aircraft.
- G-450/550, G-500 (GVII) type rating training, or direct experience is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing subordinates or contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks to meet
- Able and willing to travel for all aircraft maintenance events not completed at home base.
- Willingness to work long and sometimes irregular
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication
- Have excellent interpersonal and management
- Possess calmness under pressure with professionalism and service to clients and colleagues
Physical Requirements
Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, calculators, telephones, and other office equipment; and conduct repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft.
