Position Overview:

The role reports to the Sr. Director of Operations and will focus on processes that improve operational efficiency, consistency and compliance in support of company objectives. This role offers an opportunity to impact the execution of our sales teams and overall success of Nearpods GTM operations. The Sales Operation Manager serves as a liaison with other divisions such as Sales, Customer Success and Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of sales.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes

  • Managing and maintaining sales process adherence with Sales Representatives, including creating compliance reports to drive enforcement of required actions

  • Manage deal approval process to ensure structure of deals are in alignment with published approved sales/renewal processes

  • Determine gaps in current quote to cash process, collaborate with management to improve existing policies, operational execution and adoption of new processes

  • Ensure quick and efficient processing of sales orders, renewals and proposals

  • Identify and resolve operational issues, clearly articulate potential recommendations/solutions to managers/partners; manage number of escalations

  • Effectively rollout new SFDC processes, ability to communicate and deliver training of process changes at both a detailed user level and a summary management level

  • Perform data mining, root cause analysis and partner with analytics and systems team to recommend proper SFDC changes in process/approach for issues impacting data integrity

  • Manage operations process library containing sales processes, business rules and automation flows

  • Provide guidance for quote to cash, contract and RFP processes

  • Manage projects across multiple teams simultaneously

  • Train and guide resources as needed

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years working in Salesforce required

  • Strong process design/redesign background with 3+ years’ experience

  • Strong change management skills, including understanding needs, coordinating communication, and creating and delivering training to sales users and other constituents

  • A curious, self-driven and independent learner who can dive into the unknown and quickly organize and assimilate a path forward

  • Strong organization skills of both data, process, and people
