Job Description Overview

The Hospitality Lead creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and visitors attending Pantano. This position oversees various aspects of hospitality, including events, guest services, the Hello team, café, and parking.

Campus Connections is dedicated to fostering consistency and cohesiveness across all Pantano locations, uniting Discipleship, Hospitality, and Campus-specific initiatives. With a focus on creating a seamless experience, they ensure that individuals feel connected and engaged, regardless of the campus they attend, fostering a sense of unity and community within the broader Pantano family.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee events & Events Coordinator, ensuring they align with the church's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with other church departments to integrate hospitality into overall event planning.
  • Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement guest service (Front Desk & Starting Point) strategies to enhance the overall experience for both members and visitors.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and hospitality within the Hello Team.
  • Oversee the church Café and staff, ensuring it operates efficiently and aligns with the church's hospitality standards.
  • Work with vendors, if applicable, to maintain high-quality products and services.
  • Implement strategies to encourage fellowship and community building in the café area.
  • Develop and implement a parking plan to efficiently manage church parking areas during services and events.

Other Duties

  • Attend weekly 1:1, team and staff meetings
  • Adhere to all church policies and procedures as well as ensure that volunteers comply with guidelines for ministry
  • Work assigned duties during All Hands On Deck events such as Christmas and Easter services
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active Difference Maker at Pantano Christian Church
  • Previous experience in a hospitality-related field
  • Previous experience in leading teams and supervising staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers, and other staff
  • Excellent office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Proficiency in online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Experience with Mac and macOS a plus
  • Experience with Google Drive a plus
  • Experience with database software a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel a plus
