About This Role

As an Event Consultant, you will be the first experience our clients have with Trademark Venues. Using a variety of communication channels including in-person meetings, video calls, SMS, and phone calls, you will be responsible for establishing rapport, discovering needs, communicating appropriate and accurate information, building value and persuading, and executing reservation agreements in collaboration with clients and potential clients as well as your local management and support team. Contacting warm leads and using proven techniques in sales and customer service as well as participating in ongoing training and growth opportunities, you will be a vital part of continuing Trademark’s rapid growth trajectory. 

 

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Establishing the initial customer relationship with potential clients.
  • Discovering customer needs and an engaging value proposition around those needs.
  • Transitioning effectively and efficiently from the value proposition to executing the reservation agreement.
  • Collaborating with your leadership team to identify opportunities for value added products and services.
  • Participating in training and growth opportunities.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and company offerings
  • Partnering with others throughout the organization to drive operational efficiency and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven and high-achieving experience in a sales role required.
  • Experience in the event planning or hospitality industry preferred.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
  • The ability to persuade and close effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Zoom
  • Ability to work weekends and some holidays
  • Ability to travel within local venues
