Digital Marketing Coordinator - Temporary
Job Details

This position will play a pivotal role in driving traffic to our flagship website,, as well as contributing to the growth of other key digital products including, The Puzzle Society, and UExpress. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist with the implementation of social media campaigns including target audience identification, copywriting, design, placement, optimization and measurement. This position will report into the Digital Marketing Manager and assist this role on key projects within the digital products team. Responsibilities will also include direct management of organic social campaigns, reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data. This position will also assist with audience and media consumption research.

This is a full-time, temporary position (up to 12-months) with a potential opportunity to convert into

a permanent position with Andrews McMeel Universal.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, graphic, video, and photo content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Implement, optimize and measure organic social campaigns
  • Works cross-functionally with eCommerce, content strategy and digital marketing to implement and maintain social media strategies
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Use social monitoring tools to identify key influencers for marketing /PR outreach and identify social trends for opportunistic campaigns
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Program weekly Comic Collections for site and newsletter
  • Program and schedule weekly newsletter
  • Coordinate quarterly reports focused on audience development, engagement and conversion trends for priority digital products


  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms, social media management tools, and email management tools (Hootsuite, Hubpot, Falcon)
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills,
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally, tailoring communication style to audience
  • Ability to tell a story with data


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Design or related field and/or
    1-2 years’ experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Hubspot, Falcon
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
