Overview: Endera is actively seeking a motivated full time Electric Vehicle Technician for our electric vehicle department. The EV Technician will be responsible for the assembly and production of electric vehicles.  The position reports to the Production Manager with regular interaction with other members of management.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality and safety standards
  • Perform scheduled work and align priorities to meet production priorities and goals
  • Understand and carry out verbal and written directions
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers
  • Maintain clean work areas to meet 5S standards of workplace organization
  • Notify supervisor of manufacturing and quality issues
  • Continually strive to improve vehicle product quality and manufacturing efficiency while reducing scrap and rework
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

 

Working Conditions and Environment:

  • Combination of shop and office environment
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Ability to work well as a team member
  • Must possess good time management skills
  • Must be dependable, coachable, and trainable
  • Must be able to read, learn, interpret, and comprehend drawings, blueprints, and other written or verbal technical communication to complete the assembly of the vehicle according to established guidelines and quality standards
  • Must be able to verify material and assembly components to set up each job
  • Must be able to use and maintain a variety of hand and power tools
  • Must be able to compute basic math and hand-held measuring tools
  • Ability to train new employees

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Associates Degree in trade related to automotive technician, electrical systems preferred
  • Experience in automotive troubleshooting and repair and/or manufacturing assembly operations
  • Preferred 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
