Triunity's 16th Street Mall team is need of a summer intern for 2024! This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile design-build project and learn the ins and outs of a large heavy civil reconstruction project from the owner's perspective.

 

Responsibilities:
•Read contract plans, specifications, and contract language.
•Observe and monitor field work activities to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
•Perform project closeout activities, including but not limited to punch list and substantial completion inspections and tracking.
•Checks lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.
•Observes highway work zones and traffic control setups and reports potential issues to supervisor.
•Reviews project activities with contractor's field supervision
•Documents daily work activities and pay items.
•Works under the direct supervision of a Field Project Engineer or Construction Manager. 
•Additional responsibilities as needed.

 

Requirements: 
•Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management degree program with 2+ years completed. 
•Computer skills including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Bluebeam.
•Ability to work independently.
•Willingness to work weekends, nights, and swing shifts as required on assigned projects.
•Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
•Other duties as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in the construction field.
•Working knowledge and understanding of CDOT specifications and standards.
•Ability to read road and bridge construction plans.

The salary range for this position is between $20 and $25 per hour

Work Environment
