Description and Requirements

Maryland Auto Insurance is seeking motivated and organized individuals to fill Part-Time Contractual Claims Call Center Associate positions in our Baltimore office at McHenry Row. These positions are expected to answer phone calls from insureds, claimants, producers, and other concerning the initial reporting of an accident and claims-related questions. In addition, the associate will also answer policy inquires and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties.

Job duties to include:

  • Interpret insurance policies
  • Read and understand various PC screens dealing with policy and claims information
  • Take a first notice of loss report
  • Set up a claim service center appointment or field assignment
  • Provide excellent customer service

Other duties may be required.

These positions are limited to a maximum of 29 hours per week. We do not offer benefits for part-time, contractual positions.



Qualifies applicants will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of customer service experience. Bilingual skills, fluency in English and Spanish a plus.

These positions will report to a Claims Supervisor and will not supervise other employees.

The Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund, a Property & Casualty Insurance carrier and Independent Agency of the State of Maryland. We’re located in the Locust Point neighborhood of Baltimore, featuring a variety of restaurant and shopping options in walking distance from the office.
