Description

The Cook II is responsible for the set-up and break down of the kitchen stations and handles the grill and cooks food to order.  Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with established standards.  Responsible for breakfast, lunch and dinner food preparation for all club outlets.  Assist Cook I, Cook II and Cook III in the daily preparation of food items for the restaurant.

Qualifications

  • Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
  • Check station to ensure an adequate supply of materials for the shift and bring up to par those items needed.
  • Set up the station by obtaining all equipment and materials needed.
  • Prepare station for service.
  • Prepare and plate all items received from the computer system in a timely and accurate manner and communicate with cooks regarding timing.
  • Ensure a neat, clean and organized work area.
  • Properly break down the station by storing foods properly and carefully after labeling them.
  • Turn off all equipment ensuring no safety hazard has been left behind.
  • Complete requisitions when needed.
  • Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
  • Respond properly in any club emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by club management and staff.
  • Execute private Dining Room functions for the required food.
  • Follow all guidelines for timely food service to guests.
  • Certified in Food Service sanitation.
  • Knowledge of Shady Canyon Golf Club Food Standards.
  • Ability to execute Alternative cuisine.
  • Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company as requested by the supervisor.
