Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the corporate IT Infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations of our network
- Install and configure software, hardware, and network components
- Install and maintain VOIP systems, including setting up phone lines, configuring call routing, and troubleshooting issues with call quality or connectivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Maintain system security and implement security protocols
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to identify and implement system improvements
- Document system configurations and procedures
- Purchase items required for the organization's computer systems
- Maintain proper inventory levels of computer-related supplies
- Ensure that all end-user devices are up to date with the latest software patches, updates, and security protocols
- Manage hardware and software leases, purchases, and relationships with vendors, ensuring that all hardware and software purchases are compliant with company policies and budgets
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets and ensure that they are properly accounted for and tracked
- Assist with development and support of Cloud Computing initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements

- Working knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching protocols.
- Experience with network security protocols such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and vulnerability management.
- Understanding of VOIP protocols and technologies such as SIP, RTP, and PBX.
- Familiarity with handheld devices such as iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

Education and/or Experience
- Associate degree in information technology or related field AND Four years of related experience, OR Seven years of related experience
Travel
Travel in this position is occasional. Expected travel is less than 20%.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to effectively, and professionally, communicate through verbal and written means with employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Troubleshooting skills are imperative to this position. Facts cannot be established without proper troubleshooting.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be
- Experienced with Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2012 - 2019), DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and SMB functionality
- Experience with SaaS management
- Experience with TCP/IP, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams
