Description

Advanced Home Health is looking for a Marketing/Community Relations person to be part of our wonderful team. Advanced Home Health is a locally owned and operated agency. We are seeking talented and compassionate team members that want to make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

 

Responsible for managing all aspects of organization marketing establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources responding to customer requests and concerns, negotiating service contracts with managed care organizations government agencies, and other payers.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promotes daily marketing of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Ensures maximum third party reimbursement through effective negotiation of service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
  • Negotiates service pricing with insurance Case Managers and other payers within established financial and credit parameters.
  • Builds and monitors community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of Advanced Home Health and Hospice, Inc. as a high quality provider of services.
  • Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Advanced Home Health and Hospice, Inc. markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by Advanced Home Health and Hospice, Inc.
Qualifications
  • At least two years experience in health care marketing management, preferably in home care operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • The ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Demonstrates good communications, negotiation, and public relation skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

 

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Tuberculosis (TB) Test or Chest X-ray (Within the last six months)
  • Vaccination Record for  Varicella (Chickenpox), MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), and Hepatitis B. 
  • Proof of Vaccination for Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
  • Proof of Vaccination for Flu (Influenza)
  • Proof of Physical exam (Within the last six months)
