DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Performs assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Complies with the code of conduct and standards set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group setting which provides a positive influence on co-workers.
  • Assures that all work assigned to the position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
  • Refers to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work.
  • Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of the job functions.
  • Assures that all products are processed to the highest standard of quality.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and clean working areas in assigned work sites.
  • Works with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Wears required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Inspects materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Verifies product in storage tanks before transferring the product.
  • Inspects tank open/shut valves on all tanks before transferring product.
  • Sets up filtering process of liquid products and properly cleans and sanitizes filtering equipment.
  • Monitors filtering efficiency to maximize output.
  • Troubleshoots filter pumping breakdowns.
  • Monitors and maintains accurate inventory by documenting movement of all liquid materials and verifies accurate tracking.
  • Demonstrates proper handling of product samples.
  • Loads and unloads liquid truck tanks.
  • Regularly inspects process tank pumps for leaks and potential breakdowns.
  • Continuously evaluates tank storage to prevent liquid leakage.
  • Monitors waste water storage and drains it daily.
  • Observes and monitors gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
  • Tags and labels packages.
  • Completes daily logs of transitions and finished products.
  • Performs other essential duties assigned.
