Social Media Campaign Manager – Job Description

The Social Media Campaign Manager is responsible for furthering reach with new audiences while engaging our existing base through compelling organic social media initiatives. The incumbent will develop and implement informed content strategies tailored to the strengths of various social media platforms to increase executive presence, thought leadership, brand awareness and affinity.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Brand, Corporate Communications and Content Strategy to develop a comprehensive social media calendar in support of executive, Brand, and strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the development, scheduling, execution, and measurement of organic social media campaigns.
  • Increase engagement for existing audiences with high-quality social initiatives.
  • Acquire new followers by filling gaps in our marketing content output.
  • Align our brand with new and emerging trends.
  • Improve ROI through more consistently on-target messaging.
  • Identify new channels to embed our brand that align our marketing direction.
  • Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools.
  • Use social media tools to craft and release content to our social channels.
  • Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep the company’s social media presence consistently relevant.
  • Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations. Measure and report performance of all campaigns and assess ROI and KPIs.
  • Contribute to reinforcing Bio-Techne’s cultural values of Empowerment, Passion, Innovation and Collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
  • 5+ years of social media marketing experience, in positions of increasing responsibility
  • Demonstrated success in crafting effective social media strategies.
  • Experience leading a brand’s social media initiatives.
  • Experience with social media management platforms as well as graphics, video and listening tools. 
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships.
  • Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation skills, experience preparing and delivering talks, and communicating effectively to diverse audiences.
