Our mission of employment and upward mobility has steadily grown our operations into 5 successful business units with locations across the country. The Manufacturing Engineer develops and sustains manufacturing processes in our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in West Allis. In this role, Lead the investigation, justification, and implementation of new manufacturing processes that achieve quality and throughput. Work creatively and hands-on to ensure all processes are LEAN and 100 percent accessible to a workforce with blindness/vision impairment and other disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Continually develop and implement manufacturing processes and process improvements as well as design fixtures and gauges striving for 100 percent accessibility for a workforce that is blind/visually impaired and may have other physical restrictions.
  • Lead LEAN process and accessibility improvements and mentor others to improve processes.
  • Continually implement In Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) methods and procedures for new processes and review current processes for IPQA improvement opportunities
  • Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications and ensure process designs will meet customer and ISO standards requirements.

Qualifications

We Require:

  • A passion and commitment to fulfilling our mission and vision.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, and DraftSight/AutoCAD.
  • Successful track record in developing effective processes. 
  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships in a multidisciplinary team environment.
