Do you love the idea of building a better mousetrap?

InsCipher is changing the way insurance taxes are filed through our innovative online platform. I know what you may be thinking: Insurance...really? That doesn’t sound that interesting….right? Actually, the type of software we have built is designed for a specific type of commercial insurance called excess and surplus lines. Because our chosen niche is a bit obscure, few have had the incentive to develop technological solutions in this space. The industry as a whole is about 20 years behind the times. We have embraced this challenge by building a better mousetrap and introducing our disruptive technology into the market.

InsCipher, a subsidiary of Veracity Insurance, is growing and has an immediate need for a self-driven individual with experience owning and managing software projects and/or products in an Agile environment. As a Product Owner with InsCipher, you will have the opportunity to work with established Product and development project teams charged with conceptualizing and building new products as well as maintaining and maximizing the profitability of existing products.

We’re looking for a strategically-minded individual with the ability to translate high-level vision to actionable requirements and project plans. Story points, sprints, user stories, and roadmaps should not be obscure terms to you, and you should feel confident in your ability to represent both your customer’s and business stakeholders’ interests and needs succinctly.
