Weekend flex ability is preferred.
Applicants must have care and compassion for our elderly residents, be highly motivated and have the ability to multi task.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsible for the preparation of menu items in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Food Service Supervisor and Lead Cook
Master proper food handling techniques and the use of time, material and equipment
Assist in preparation of ingredients for entrees.
Maintains sanitary conditions by thoroughly cleaning work areas.
Ensures all foods are refrigerated and covered frozen or stored, doors locked and kitchen is clean and in order before leaving.
Ensures special diets and special requests are prepared and served to those residents requiring them.
Responsible for resident’s satisfaction with meals. Perform all the duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner.
Observe infection control procedures and properly correct if needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Successful candidates must be extremely dependable, detailed oriented, patient, and compassionate for the elderly.
