BASIC FUNCTION:
Treasury Management Officer is responsible for working closely with Branch Management and Commercial Lenders to propose and deploy Treasury Management solutions to prospective and existing business clients. The TMO will also be expected to contribute to bank growth and revenue prospecting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Deliver a consultative sales approach by helping business clients to assess their banking needs and delivering solutions.
  • Contact prospective customers in order to develop new Treasury Management business.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of Treasury Management services, and to expand existing business.
  • Participate in joint calls at the request of branch managers and commercial lenders.
  • Prepare sales presentations, explains services offered, and recommends services which would benefit clients.
  • Partner with RMs and Branch Managers to provide recommendations on sales opportunities to include sales to new prospects and cross-sell opportunities to existing clients.
  • Produces agreements or other documentation necessary for all Treasury Management Products/Services.
  • Responsible for maintenance requests and customer service support for all Treasury Management clients/services.
  • Produces monthly reports on each Treasury Management service showing monthly volume/revenue/loss for upper management review.
  • Knowledgeable of Policy and Procedures pertaining to Treasury Management services.
  • Provides requested information for annual audits including RDC/ACH Origination.
  • Responsible for all TM Service Billing and collection of fees.
  • Assists the Deposit Operations area with needs/projects.
  • Active member of various Project Teams regarding ACH/Online Wire/Business Online Banking and Remote Deposit Capture.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 8 hours a day with they ability to move around a little.
  • Lift 10-20lbs periodically.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Prior banking experience, preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of Bank Products and Services.
  • Knowledgeable of Treasury Management Services.
