We are looking for a visionary leader with a passion for professional learning and math education, to join our team!

We have the awesome opportunity to work with over 1.3 million students and over 100,000 teachers. Through our work, we get to inspire teachers to love math, equip them to be more effective at teaching it, and partner with districts to transform their math curriculum. We are looking for someone that will meet districts where they are and elevate the conversation of math education to help in this hard, but incredibly rewarding work to transform math education.
Do you have what it takes to join our team?
  • Do you have a passion for math education, particularly PK-8?
  • Can you give ample examples of professional learning projects you have overseen that are both engaging and impactful?
  • Are you a servant leader who thrives on supporting a team of incredible adult educators?
  • Do you pride yourself in being able to foster an atmosphere of autonomy and trust where candid feedback is welcomed in the quest for continuous improvement?
  • Do you love to learn, take risks, iterate on mistakes, and invent inspiring new ways to impact math learning in our schools?
  • Does your work reflect your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion?
Did you answer, Yes! or even, Absolutely! to all of the above? Great! Lets get down to specifics.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Master-level adult learning expertise to:
  • Set a vision for adult learning at MIND, both for our internal colleagues and our educator partners in our schools
  • Quickly develop a rapport with any audience, in-person or (more often than not post-COVID) via webinar
  • Push the designs and quality of our adult learning to complement our award-winning ST Math curriculum
  • Assist in the design of highly engaging and dynamic professional learning, implemented synchronously and asynchronously
A deep love for data to:
  • Incorporate evaluation strategies to ensure that the products and delivery of professional learning meet identified goals
  • Design processes to capture feedback and ensure all schools are able to be highly successful
  • Creatively organize a small team to make a large impact
Unparalleled strategic planning and collaboration skills to:
  • Make every school and district successful, keeping every educator thinking about the next step of their implementation
  • Allocate resources and build schedules to maximize the impact of the team
  • Partner closely with Product, Engagement, and Partnerships to ensure that what our Professional Learning Team creates is in line with our core messaging
  • Inform our Product team about the needs of the customer base
  • Support Partnerships in developing professional learning as a booming revenue source
  • Manage the roadmap of projects for the Professional Learning Team and communicate openly and frequently with the rest of MIND’s leadership team
After reading about the opportunity on our team, are you more excited than you were before? If so, this probably means that you have an education background, experience as a leader in education and are extremely comfortable with the tools of the trade. Still saying “Yes!”? Then we absolutely want to talk with you!

This position reports to the VP of Education Success and manages a team of four Professional Learning Specialists, three Professional Learning Leads, and a Manager of Adult Online Learning.  This role can be anywhere in the United States, as long as it’s not too far from an airport and you don’t mind turning on your webcam to build a rapport, even from a distance.  We hope this role will require some travel (when the world opens back up), but the travel will be occasional when it happens again.
