Social Media Coordinator
Job Details


This position will report to the Development Marketing Director and oversee and support key projects within the Role-Playing Games category. Responsibilities will include direct management of organic social campaigns, reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data.

Responsibilities & Qualifications



  • Establish community best practices for AMPs new RPG social presence.
  • Develop and implement overall social media strategy for the RPG category, including driving overall objectives, strategies, reporting, and measurement.
  • Execute and measure organic social campaigns that align with the goals and strategies of the company.
  • Create and post written, graphic, video, and photo content for social media accounts across different channels while maintaining a unified brand voice.
  • Report on key metrics, analyze and interpret effectiveness and trends and provide actionable insights based on available analytics data.
  • Identify and escalate or address any critical community concerns.
  • Identify key social media influencers and develop relationships and partnerships
  • Temporarily: Program weekly Comic Collections for comics website and newsletter
  • Temporarily: Program and schedule weekly comics newsletter
  • Coordinate quarterly reports focused on audience development, engagement and conversion trends for priority digital products
  • Contribute to additional projects related to social media, digital marketing, and community management as needed

  • Ability to multitask


  • Bachelors degree, ideally in a marketing or communications discipline, and 2+ years of work experience as a games community manager (tabletop or video), OR
  • 3+ years of work experience as a games community manager (tabletop or video).
  • Hands-on experience in community building.
  • A passion for tabletop RPG gaming and an interest in comics and humor content
  • Experience with digital advertising and reporting platforms such as:
  • Social advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Power Editor/Facebook Ads Manager)
  • SEM Rush or similar keyword research tools
  • Site analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360
  • Organic social tools such as Hootsuite and native platforms
  • Social Monitoring tools (e.g., Crimson Hexagon)
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Experience working on Kickstarter campaigns
