Job Details: Serve as an Integrated Information Management Systems – Information Technology Support Services (IIMS-ITSS) contract's SME – Multimedia VTC Ops Journeyman for the JSSC at the Pentagon, Washington DC, responsible for multimedia Video Teleconferencing (VTC) operations support providing conference room support for meetings, training, ceremonies, presentations, VTC and other multimedia events in direct support of the most senior members of the US military as well as news watch support collecting and disseminating open-source intelligence/news items of interest to the intelligence and operations communities within the DoD.


Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing technical/creative and extremely professional VTC support services to include use of audio visual equipment to facilitate both fixed conference room activities and off-site ad-hoc/creative locations, adherance to all security directives, SOPs, and policies, and setup/operations/recording/support of training events


  • Responsible for providing news watch support to include monitoring/recording/editing video of appropriate channels and broadcast television news programming related to official DoD items of interest, collecting and disseminating all or parts of requested official programming


  • Providing video/media duplication of master recordings and posting media onto a secure data system/base for easy access by intelligence analysts and other DoD personnel with authorized access


  • Capture and accurately record incoming/outgoing work via government provided systems and processes to ensure requests are appropriately supported, no work is lost and finished products are produced in an effective and efficient manner


  • Maintain the functionality of VTC equipment, to include, but not limited to: conducting routine preventive maintenance and appropriately recording and reporting malfunctions in an expeditious manner


  • Evaluate and recommend use of software, guidelines, procedures, and development of project plans to enhance products produced and/or efficiency at which work orders are satisfied


  • Interact with both customer and contract leadership relating complex technical issues/solutions in a manner to establish a partnership


  • Improve the customer's operating environment by providing expert support while also maintaining the cybersecurity/IA posture of systems/hardware managed/administered for both JSSC and JSSC's customers' assets


  • Exercise sound judgement with an ability to follow provided processes,  procedures and checklists associated with obtaining results under this contract, compliance with all training, safety, and security standards and perform other duties/projects as assigned

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 6 years of experience providing system administration/customer support and or;
  • Providing system administration/customer support across a range of VTC systems/architectures ensuring mission success in support of DoD;
  • Equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to be Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinated
