American Academy (AA) is accepting resumes and applications for full-time Speech and Language Pathologists of all experience levels for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Speech and Language Pathologist at American Academy (AA) will deliver special education services and consult with special and regular education teams to provide services for mild to moderate needs students in a K-8 setting.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
Uphold and model American Academy’s Manners and Character.
Provide speech language services, therapy and assistive technology to students with mild to moderate disabilities to support student achievement.
Complete eligibility educational assessment.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans.
Work as a positive team member with other specialists and general education teachers to provide an exceptional education.
Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and administration.
Create and maintain clear and accurate special education records.
