You will work with at-risk and troubled youth by supervising, monitoring, and assisting with daily programs, activities and routines, and provide for the care, welfare, safety and security of clients. Responsible for developing positive relationships and modeling appropriate behaviors, facilitating development and improvement of life and social skills, and when necessary responding to crisis episodes in a supportive, empathetic, respectful and professional manner.  Required to attend the Juvenile Corrections Officer Academy.


Responsibilities and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience with target population preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Completion of Juvenile Corrections Officer Academy or willingness to attend
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass drug test
