Delta Installation Group, Inc. is currently hiring individuals to join our office furniture installation team.

We have both driving and non-driving positions open.
Driving positions do not require a CDL - we use passenger and cargo vans, 16' cube trucks, or 24' box trucks - all under 26,000 lbs.
Drivers are required to pass the DOT physical, drug testing, and maintain a valid DOT driver's card.

We work days (5:30AM start), evenings (3:30PM start), and weekends. Your work days & times may vary weekly based on each project's schedule. Part Time or Full Time available for all shifts. Overtime is often available.

A brief description of the job:

Delta delivers and installs every type of office furniture including systems furniture "cubicles", high-end wood case goods, floor to ceiling wall systems, and lab product. As a member of our installation team, your basic job responsibilities will include:

  • Helping to load and unload product from trucks
  • Unboxing and inspecting product
  • Staging (placing) furniture components near their installation location
  • Building the furniture and installing accessory components
  • Removing boxes and packing materials from the site
  • Wipe down installed furniture and clean installation area
  • Check operation of drawers, cabinets and accessories
  • MAKE SURE THE CLIENT IS SATISFIED WITH THE JOB

Qualifications

Basic requirements:

  • Must have a positive, "get it done right" attitude and work well with other team members
  • Drivers are required to pass the DOT physical, drug testing, and maintain a valid DOT driver's card.
  • Driving experience and/or DOT card is a plus - we use vans, 16' and 24' Trucks (non-CDL)
  • Many of our projects require access to government facilities where criminal background checks and drug screening are required for entry
  • Must be able to handle the physical aspects of the job (lifting at least 50 lbs, standing, bending, pushing, etc throughout your shift while installing office furniture)
  • Prior office furniture installation experience is a plus but the ability to follow directions, learn quickly, and use basic hand tools to put things together is most important
