Position Title: Organic Search Strategist

Location: Remote

(Salary range: $60,000 - $77,000)

Calling all SEO enthusiasts! EDDY is on the hunt for an Organic Search Strategist with a passion for driving website performance and a knack for client communication. If you have a solid background in SEO strategy and thrive in client-facing roles, we want to hear from you!

This dynamic and rewarding position calls for a mix of technical proficiency and strong communication skills. Your key duties will involve formulating, executing, and enhancing SEO strategies, while keeping our partners informed and engaged. We at EDDY hold the belief that a brand's website is the hub of your brand, and this thought guides every project we undertake.

As an Organic Search Strategist, your focus will be on improving website performance to meet specific client objectives.  Beyond SEO, you'll contribute to content marketing, UX & conversion rate optimization, and provide regular, in-depth updates to our client partners.

Here are the abilities we seek out:

 

  • Create, execute, and manage SEO and marketing strategies to increase client website traffic and conversion rates
  • Drive client goals by leveraging organic growth strategies such as technical SEO, content marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Forge strong relationships with Account Management and Marketing leadership to design and assess effective marketing campaigns
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, shifts, and opportunities for improved ROI
  • Optimize website conversion elements for improved results
  • Discover and present new growth opportunities to clients to enhance their digital marketing ROI
  • Participate in client discussions on campaign performance and data interpretation.
  • Devise actionable next steps based on your findings.
  • Collaborate cross-channel for a holistic view of clients' marketing performance.

What You Offer:

Educational Requirements and Background:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field OR relevant work experience

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with managing organic search campaigns
  • Client-facing experience with search engine optimization, content marketing, UX/CRO, and other organic growth tactics
  • Proficiency using Google Analytics to identify and report on performance trends

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Google Analytics 4 certification
  • Experience with 3rd party management tools, such as SEMrush, Moz, etc.
  • Familiarity with HTML
  • An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector
  • Occasional annual travel possible
