Position overview:

The Manager, Marketing (Website) maintains and creates content, continuously optimizes our core pages to ensure goals are being met and analyzes ongoing data across nearpod.com and flocabulary.com with responsibilities including ongoing web strategy and overseeing website operation, with particular attention to messaging, design, development, QA and bug fixing, and site maintenance. 




  • Act as the main POC for web agency holding daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings

  • Take web projects for both Nearpod.com and Flocabulary.com from ideation to design, test, prod, reporting, and completion in partnership with key stakeholders and the external agency

  • Develop creative copy for web pages in partnership with key stakeholders

  • Develop procedures to help the company better meet web deadlines and project stages

  • Implement an improved process for quality assurance with the agency

  • Generate regular project status reports to be presented to team and or company leadership stakeholders; detail data, tasks, and processes

  • Schedule, optimize, and analyze promo bar performance on the website



  • Schedule and coordinate cross-functionally to develop a consistent monthly blog calendar of content for both Nearpod and Flocabulary blogs

  • Edit blog posts for brand voice and blogging best practices 

  • Work cross-functionally with design and content teams to ensure consistency in blog promo graphics, lesson covers, and other media

  • Format and deploy blogs in the WordPress environment


Optimization  & Analysis 

  • Monitor dynamic reporting dashboard to ensure progress of web related KPI's

  • Review and analyze website performance related to the site’s core KPIs (B2C sign ups and B2B leads) on a weekly basis and make recommendations for improvement

  • Review, audit, and report on blog metrics every month and share insights 

  • Work with the agency to deploy SEO strategy specific to the organization’s goals

  • Develop regular website performance analysis reports to be shared out organizationally 

  • Take on new and unproven web projects in order to develop new business ideas and opportunities that help lead the company to future success


Background/ Requirements:

  • Experience managing websites including content, SEO, analytics, landing page optimizations, etc.

  • Understanding of marketing tactics and experience executing landing pages

  • Understanding of the dynamics of a B2C2B and SaaS business model

  • Highly organized (able to juggle many priorities, document, and communicate well)

  • Collaborative and able to manage a large number of stakeholders

  • Analytical (able to analyze web performance and apply learnings to future iterations)

  • Strong copywriting abilities

  • Able to manage agency or designers and developers to develop outstanding creative

  • Working knowledge of necessary systems is preferred: Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Jira, WordPress, Google Data Studio, Pardot, Salesforce.com, Mixpanel, Google Suite

  • Undergraduate degree in education, marketing, business, or related field
