Description

Our General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the general building, grounds and janitorial maintenance for all Sedona and Grand Canyon buildings and facilities

  • Ensures PJT facilities are clean and properly maintained daily to present a positive image to customers
  • Performs Contractor quality repairs on drywall, concrete, electrical, plumbing, flooring, stucco, siding, and finish carpentry
  • Installs doors, windows, trim, cabinets, flooring, light fixtures and switches, cubicles, toilets, and sinks
  • May assist with hiring plumbers, electricians, air conditioning, roofing and landscape experts as needed
  • Assists with trail maintenance as needed
  • Serves as liason with outside contractors for remodels and repairs to ensure that all work meets Pink Jeep Tours high standards:
  • May assist with concept plans, material costs & proposals, and submitting purchase orders for approval on construction projects; secures permits as required by city ordinances
  • Makes repair decisions based on company needs and budget restrictions
  • Demonstrates outstanding teamwork, communication and collaboration with the entire management team.
  • Special projects as requested by management

 

Qualifications
  • Effective time management, prioritization and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Construction Skills:
  • Metal fabrication
  • Welding – Mig, stick or oxy acetylene
  • Drywall taping and finishing
  • Rough framing, finish carpentry and cabinet installation
  • Concrete finishing - optional
  • Masonry - optional
  • Stucco - optional
  • Plumbing, electrical
  • Flooring - epoxy flooring installation, carpet and tile installation
  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Roofing – shingle and elastomeric
  • Painting – interior and exterior
  • High level of integrity and strong team player that is self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Proficient computer experience a plus (MS Windows, Word, Excel, Email, CAD drawings)

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a vehicle for travel regularly to different office locations
  • Must have own basic construction tools
  • Must be able to walk in and around the community to meet with contractors or service providers as needed
  • This position will involve sitting, standing, lifting, driving, use of power tools and heavy equipment. Must be able to reach overhead, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
