Description

 

The Camp Coordinator Assistant is a full-time, seasonal administrative position. This person communicates daily with both camp families and staff.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Tasks:

  • Process camper registrations and forms.
  • Maintain the camper and customer databases, update records.
  • Produce registration reports.
  • Serves as camp receptionist and the friendly routing of all telephone communication.
  • Customer service; servicing camper families and prospective customers including daily communication (phone and email)
  • Answer questions on customer accounts and assist families registering for camp.
  • Scan, upload and organize files, and online record management.
  • General office upkeep: supply ordering, organization, and upkeep of facilities.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Desired; one year of experience in administrative position.
  • H.S Diploma/GED
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work both virtually and in person at our camp offices.
  • The ability to quickly learn and master registration and database programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based programs-MS Word, MS Outlook, Chrome, Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • The ability to perform general office duties (answering inquires by email and phone, upload files, online record management, copy, mailing, organizing supplies and run all the mechanics of the office).

 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL WORK DEMANDS:

  • Sit and work at a computer station for extended periods of time.
  • Stand and work at a computer station for extended periods of time.
  • Stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
  • Lift and move up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Can assist with special events outside.
