We're seeking a PMs Diesel Technician looking to train and advance within the Commercial Truck Service field at our dealership in Murfreesboro, TN. Initial workload will include Preventative Maintenance on engines, brakes, hydraulics, suspensions, and transmissions as you transition into heavier repairs while accumulating the training to climb the technician ranks alongside expert Diesel Technicians/Mechanics. You will work with all make and model trucks, buses and parts- brands like Cummins, International, IC Bus, Fleetrite and other leading manufacturers in the marketplace.

Responsibilities
- Review work orders, evaluate necessary tasks & prepare plans after fully assessing vehicle issues.
- Notify service advisor of any additional services needed.
- Complete all requested services while strictly adhering to manufacturer, DOT, and Cumberland policies & procedures as they relate to labor operations, time & repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs & torque specs.
- Provide details of the repair on the work order including the three Cs: Customer Complaint, Cause, & Correction.
- Update Service Supervisor throughout the day & at the end of your shift with the status of the repair.
- Ensure that guest vehicles are returned to the customer as clean as they were prior to being serviced. Treat all guests, visitors & dealership personnel with the utmost respect & courtesy.
- Complete all technical training & OEM educational requirements in the specified timeframe.
- Produce quality work that paints pride of workmanship. Maintain your workspace in an organized & clean manner.
