Quality Control Technician

**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE CONCRETE INDUSTRY TO BE CONSIDERED**

Concrete Quality Control Technician -  Full Time

What you’ll be doing:

• Review project specifications and prepare submittals for various projects in our serviceable areas.

• Work with the sales department to review project requirements and advise on mix requirements.

• Perform tests for conformance of concrete on jobsites.

• Casting cylinders to provide history for mix designs and correlation testing on specific jobs.

• Run moisture tests for plant operators.

• Run trial batches to verify material performance and compliance and evaluate new sources.

• Perform trial batches for state approved and special project mix designs.

• Test aggregates gradations for all plant locations.

• Update mix design program as needed.

• Responsible for overall review and evaluation of mix designs.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.

• Strong computer skills, comfortable with word, excel and power point.

• A critical thinking mindset, and ability to quickly problem solve.

• Knowledge of Quality Assurance requirements.

• Familiarity with aggregate sizes and required quantities.

• Knowledge of the ready mix and aggregates industry.

• ACI Field Technician Certification.

• Able to drive a company vehicle.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

• Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts.
