Position Summary

 

Location: Remote (Mountain or Pacific Time zones)

 

Salary Range: $80k-$90k

 

The Marketing Technology Manager is responsible for ensuring the architecture and design of the marketing technology infrastructure is set up to optimize digital engagement and execute against marketing strategies, including web architecture and tools, related third-party sites, guest-facing apps and online tools, CRM system, email platform, online analytics, and other digital initiatives.

 

The Marketing Technology Manager will work closely with the SVP of Marketing and will be responsible for our brand’s digital media strategy and operations. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing digital marketing plans, developing email and drip campaigns for maximum customer conversion rates, managing mar-tech projects, creating and posting content, maintaining vendor relations, and managing the mar-tech budget.

 

This position leads the development of new and enhanced marketing functionality specifically in the social and digital engagement functions of the company. The Marketing Technology Manager monitors KPIs and uses consumer insights and data to recommend innovative marketing technology solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Message and Campaign Development

  • Develop strategic marketing messages to promote products and services to various markets.
  • Engage in marketing research, planning, analysis, and writing.
  • Perform content gathering, evaluation, formulation, design and develop engaging digital marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize quantitative research and evolve processes for maximum engagement.
  • Ability to take a novel worth of information and condense the message and associated plan of execution to reach target audiences for the internal sales team, B2B corporate, and B2C market.

Marketing Technology & Consumer Engagement Strategy

  • Manage, implement, and optimize marketing technology strategies and projects from planning to completion as a leader between internal partners and technology.
  • Partner with marketing and business partners to understand business needs and translate those needs into intuitive martech solutions for our sales team using new and existing tools.
  • Responsible for thorough testing and approval of all consumer-facing marketing technologies.
  • Use data, analysis and research to understand our dealer client and retail customers and ensure that our marketing technology improves their experience.
  • Identify opportunities for internal clients to use marketing technology to enhance their overall marketing mix and present recommendations to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with current data privacy laws and manage marketing processes related to data privacy regulations.
  • Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Digital Media Production

  • Maintain the company’s corporate website(s), email newsletters, social media content, product apps and associated impact.
  • Create internal and external e-newsletters combining informative content and consistent marketing messaging.
  • Develop and manage content for the company’s websites and publications with strategic goals in mind.
  • Design and develop digital content to support implementation of user funnel enhancements and search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives.

Qualifications

Competencies and Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in a related field (Marketing, Technology, Business, etc.). Additional education or training preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with marketing technology management, programming, analytics, and/or design. Equivalent combination of education/experience considered. Preferred candidate will have previous experience working in an agency or other corporate setting.
  • Commitment to delivery of world class internal/external guest service.
  • Excellent analytic, planning, and marketing skills with the ability to translate and move plans into action.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, HTML and CSS, and responsive design practices; knowledge of JavaScript coding preferred.
  • Knowledge of website usability best practices, SEO, W3C standards, and browser compatibility issues; solid understanding of website analytics.
  • Experience with Lucid Press or other SaaS creative material management platforms is a plus.
  • A keen sense of design and graphic design skills are required.
