Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Senior System Administrator with proficiency across a range of technologies, primarily AWS, Azure, VMware, Windows, and Apple environments. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our diverse IT landscape, encompassing cloud platforms, virtualization solutions, operating systems, and Apple hardware. As a crucial member of our IT team, you will ensure the seamless operation and integration of these technologies while providing expert technical support. Your expertise in cloud technologies, scripting languages, and system automation will be essential in troubleshooting complex issues and implementing innovative solutions. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization, and security of our organization's complex IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud platforms, networking, and security practices, along with exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.

- Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- Creating user account templates and performing access control.
- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
- Documenting processes and backing up and archiving data for the enterprise.
- Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
- Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
- Mentoring IT Helpdesk employees, as well as providing IT support.
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
- Oversee the Support Desk function.

- Address requests escalated beyond Tier I and Tier II.
