This is a paid internship opportunity. Consideration will be given to candidates who are immediately available and can commit to a 3-month internship averaging 20 hours/week.


The QA Tester is responsible for testing features across our consumer-facing products and working with project teams to continuously assess and communicate the quality of our products and games. You have a passion for games, are a team player, have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

The QA Tester will report to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Experience in Software testing
  • Knowledge of Agile software development
  • Comfort with new testing tools and test strategies


  • Help create well-structured test plans for a variety of AMU supported products
  • Conduct testing across platforms and browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera for web and mobile browsers
  • Identify and report high-quality issues (bugs) into JIRA and track them to closure
  • Provide updates on testing status
  • Provide thoughtful and professional feedback on gameplay related issues in both written and verbal form
  • Obtain a clear understanding of the rules of each game and apply to testing


  • Able to test from the perspective of a diverse target audience/end-users
  • Aptitude for comprehending technical design and game design documentation
  • Excellent communication skills both in person and through video calls
  • Good organizational and time management skills focused on deadlines while attuned to details
