Description

This position is responsible for processing and reconciling receipts along with a variety of other finance department duties that support accounts receivable, customer service, and financial reporting.

Essential Functions

  • Build data files for incoming company payroll payments

  • Import data files to CRM and reconcile to bank transactions

  • Responsible for Customer Service calls and emails related to company payments. Assists with process questions and troubleshoots any issues related to company data files

  • Prepare weekly reports for internal departments to review the status of all company payments

  • Process monthly donation invoices to all individual and corporate donors

Additional Functions

  • Monitor company accounts for missed payments and provide weekly updates to donor relations and processing teams

  • Process credit card payments – phone pledges, manual credit card installments, etc.

  • Process end of year tax receipts or as needed by donor

  • Assist with data analysis projects when needed

People Management Responsibilities

  • Provide cross training on company payment files to other finance team members

Financial/Budgetary Responsibilities

  • At month end run daily deposit reports from CRM and accounting systems to reconcile with daily bank statements

  • Reconcile monthly credit card activity between CRM and bank statements

  • Assist with annual audit and 990 tax return

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Required: Associate’s Degree

  • Preferred: Two years of related experience

 

Annual Salary

  • Pay Grade - 103

  • Salary Range - $36,900 - $43,400

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Required: Expertise in Microsoft Excel – ability to manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables, etc. Strong administrative, interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication abilities, proficiency with other Microsoft Applications

  • Preferred: Capable of managing multiple tasks and highly organized

  • Required: None

 

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
