Facilities Information Systems Director 
 

Position Summary:

 Facilities Information Systems Director works to manage software applications as well as software and systems upgrades associated with Facilities Management. Plan and execute software applications needed for smooth facilities operations and supervise the installation and daily maintenance of those applications, these include CMMS, CMS and other maintenance and security related software. The Facilities Information Systems Director will also work with security contractors to manage the installation and maintenance of security systems software and hardware across BrightView locations. This position will oversee the Facilities Management Administrator, Facilities Project Manager as well as Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.  

 

Job Duties:

  • Researching and procuring software applications that will contribute to the success of the department.
  • Installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining those applications as and where necessary
  • Establishing protocols for software applications and ensuring their ease of use for others
  • Overseeing upgrades for hardware and software related to FM
  • Reporting on progress of operational issues to management, end users and department.
  • Collaborate with BrightView IT department to manage hardware needs for FM.
  • Creating, executing, and maintaining company databases.
  • Manage and train a team of individuals focused on facilities administration and projects.
  • Ensure that the Mission, Vision, and Values are upheld throughout the region.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education/Degree:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

 

Required Certification/License:

Not applicable or required

 

Required Work Experience:

2+ years of relevant experience

 

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret financial data and work order proposals.
  • Knowledge & skills with Microsoft products & general computer literacy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to function with a collaborative spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Exhibits good time management skills.
