Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Pick up and transport donations between internal and external partners
• Transport food, hygiene, clothing and other donations between sites.
• Transport clients and staff between sites, as assigned.
• Follow appropriate food safety guidelines while storing, transporting, and/or distributing food products.
• Store all delivered food items upon delivery following storage and food safety guidelines.
• Responsible for refueling, cleaning of assigned Atlanta Mission vehicles.
• Responsible for monitoring of vehicle maintenance schedule of assigned Atlanta Mission vehicles.
• Coordinate with site representatives regarding the inventory of donations
• Manage organization, cleanliness, processes and inventory of warehouse spaces.
• Manage requisition fulfilment and transport items between locations.
• Runs industrial laundry
• Prepares rooms for new clients and assists with the transition between sites

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces and in heavy traffic
• Must have a valid GA driver's license and be able to pass the DOT certification
• Must be able to physically lift, twist and turn 50lbs consistently.

Special Job Requirements:  

• Ability to travel between different work sites on a daily basis 
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle 
•  Willingness to commute to various locations as necessary for the role
