Claims Coordinator (Contract)

SUMMARY:

The Sales Claims coordinator position is responsible for supporting the retail marking efforts of the sales team. This person must have excellent communicative and organizational skills with a focus on delivering great customer service. Primary responsibilities involve working with our internal sales team, accounting and our outside Sales reps in order to gather information and process credits related to all aspects of sales activities and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, log, and fully process claims from promotions and account activity
  • Analyze and reconcile deductions against customers invoices/chargebacks – research and provide supporting documents for management to approve
  • Manage status of claims and follow up as needed
  • Interface with accounting regarding claims
  • Assist team with other general sales related administrative duties & tasks as needed

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • 2 - 3 Years’ experience with consumer products and customer service is required
  • Experience with “Big Box” retailers is a plus, but not required
