Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Room Service Server to join the team.

Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Room Service Server role, you will be preparing orders, setting trays, and delivering items to guests in our 33-room Inn. The position pays $18/hour plus tips on deliveries. There will be a consistent weekly set schedule. Looking to hire part-time or full-time.

About You: You are energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our guests comes naturally. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and are willing to work as part of a team.

Essential Duties:

  • Set trays according to type of food ordered
  • Accurately records, pre checks, and pickups or all food and beverage orders
  • Serve guests in a prompt courteous manner
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel experience is preferred
  • Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Reliability, attention to detail, professionalism
  • Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
  • Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
