Volunteer Opportunities With Old Salem
Volunteers are vital in helping Old Salem Museums & Gardens fulfill its mission to educate its diverse audiences about the rich history of early Southern life. There are many opportunities for volunteers in various departments throughout the museum.
As you know, Old Salem believes that we can make a difference in our community and are dedicated to serving our city and its residents.
There are also opportunities within horticulture education, marketing and communications, domestic education, and African American programming.
For one day up to 4 days per week, volunteer your unique expertise alongside our compelling storytellers in our historic buildings, gardens, or any of the ones listed above. We are currently open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
With our niche spaces, we prefer our volunteers to have some knowledge of our site and the Moravian story to volunteer in our buildings, but it is not a requirement.
