Job Summary
As a Manufacturing Technician I, you will be responsible for performing the assembly of electro-mechanical subcomponents for highly technical products, in accordance with approved work instructions and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly using basic hand tools and power tools Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners using hand, air, and power tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts list.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Positioning parts according to blue prints.
- Performs basic quality form/fit inspections of incoming materials as needed.
- Conducts rework of failed components as directed by production supervision.
- Documents work progress as directed by production supervision.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, shop rules, and regulations.
- Gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and material for job and assembles components according to drawings and work instructions.
